About Mr. Sergio Rodriguez
Sergio Rodriguez has been appointed as the Sprayberry High School Orchestra Program Director, bringing a wealth of experience in performance, education, and conducting. Originally from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, he has studied and taught music internationally, earning recognition for his orchestra programs and receiving awards such as the Atlanta Family Award for Excellence in Education. As a violinist, conductor, composer, and published author, he has performed and directed ensembles across the U.S. and Latin America, including a recent conducting engagement at Carnegie Hall. His compositions are published by J.W. Pepper, and he continues to contribute as a music critic. Mr. Rodriguez, happily married for 27 years, enjoys family time, reading, playing guitar, and traveling.
